To 300 Watts and Beyond
The long line of leadership at KAFM has always believed that, in addition to promoting volunteerism and providing a place for the community to come together on the air and at the station, we must continually strive to find new and innovative ways to serve our community.
Beyond Radio programs in the Radio Room have become a growing part of that vision.
The heart and soul of who we are and what we do is our broadcast programming. Everything else relies on that core mission. Now we fi nally have a chance to reach more people, have a larger impact and honor the eff orts of everyone who has contributed to the growth and achievements of KAFM.
Three hundred watts will extend the reach of our broadcast, but more importantly, it will help fill in our existing broadcast area, notably downtown, the Redlands, Palisade and Fruita.
